Grapes for this wine are sourced from two very different vineyards: Massara (planted at 240 asl) and Olmo (planted at 340 asl). Soil content is a rich blend of sand (30%) clay (55%) and chalk (15%), very fertile.
Hand-harvested in mid-September. Grapes are laid down in slatted fruit-boxes in order to select only the best bunches. Grapes are then macerated for 10 days in steel tanks. The wine is matured for 9 months, then aged in bottle for 3 months before release.
100% Pelaverga, autochthonous to the commune of Verduno.
