From Faset vineyard in the Barbaresco commune, measuring 0.97 ha. in size. This vineyard was part-planted in 1970, and again in 1992. Soil is characteristic of this area - rich in limestone. East and South-East facing.
Hand-harvested in early October. Grapes are laid down in slatted fruit-boxes to be able to select only the best bunches. Grapes are then macerated for 25 days in steel tanks. The wine is matured for 20 months in barrels of Slavonian oak, then 1 month in steel tanks. Finally, it is aged in bottle for 27 months before release.
