Vinexus today works with over 70 producers from the length and breadth of Italy. Our dedicated and tailor-made team of Italian wine specialists is integrated into the wineries they work with, committed to the success of these wines with their distributing partners around the world.

Nicolas Belfrage

Nicolas Belfrage MW founded Vinexus in the late 1990s whilst writing his influential books on Italian wines: “Barolo to Valpolicella: The Wines of Northern Italy” and “Brunello to Zibibbo: The Wines of Tuscany, Central and Southern Italy”.

A long and distinguished career with Italian wines starting in the 1970s, becoming a Master of Wine in 1980, and being a world opinion leader and journalist gave him an incredible insight into the birth of Italian wines of quality. He also gained extensive, second to none knowledge. This helped many importing and distributing wine businesses around the world in many international export markets become the Italian wine specialists they are today.
