The Sangiovese grapes for this wine come from the Monsenese vineyard in San Leonino. With a broad exposure from north to south, and an altitude of 400 m.asl, this setting provides ideal conditions for growing the Sangiovese grape.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks. The maceration process takes place at a controlled temperature for 18 days. The wine is then aged in 30 hl. Slavonian oak barrels, before a long ageing in the bottle for 18 months.
