Viticulture

Spread across Montepulciano's iconic hills, at roughly 250 - 400 masl. 4,000 vines planted to ha., yielding 40 hl. per ha. North-easterly facing. Soil is largely composed of sand and clay.

Vinification

Harvested in mid-October, initial fermentation in steel containers for 12 days at 26° - 28°. 18 - 20,000 bottles produced annually.

Grape Varieties

80% Prugnolo gentile, 15% Canaiolo nero, 5% Colorino.
