Grows at an altitude of 50 - 500 metres above sea level. Between 2,500 and 5,000 vines planted per Ha. Yields 12 tons per Hl. Guyot-trained.
Dry, savoury and intensely fruity
Of the "Glera" grape variety. Vines are between 5 and 60 years old.
Hand harvested. Pressed using sophisticated machinery that extracts only the must. 70 kg of grape yields 100 l. of wine. Following the Italian method, the wine is fermented in great steel barrels ideal for pressure, and then allowed to referment. This causes the yeasts to convert remaining sugars into CO2, creating bubbles.
