Pinot Grigio

Viticulture

From vineyards in the Margreid plain, and from the hillside village of Kurtatsch. Vines are planted between 210 - 350 m.asl. Terrain in the Margreid vineyards is composed of plain sandy alluvial soil, and in the Kurtatsch sub-zone chalk gravel moraine soil. Vines are guyot-trained, with 6,000 - 7,000 planted per ha. Yield is between 45 - 55 hl. per ha.

Vinification

Fermented at a constant temperature of 20ÂșC in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured on the fine lees for 4 months before bottling.
