From the Tenuta Voltagrande and other vineyards in Ciro'. Vines planted in 2005, in vineyards approximately situated at 60 m.asl. Vines are cordon spur-trained. 5,500 vines per ha. Soil is sedimentary with a pebbly presence - great for drainage. Vines are south-facing.
Grapes are harvested in early September. 70 hl. yield per ha. Grapes are macerated at 18°C for 15 days. The wine is then aged for 5 months in stainless steel, followed by 2 months in the bottle, and is then generally bottled 9 months after production.
