Viticulture

From the Tenuta Voltagrande and other vineyards in Ciro'. Vines planted in 2006, in vineyards approximately situated at 10 m.asl.
Vines are cordon spur-trained. 5,500 vines per ha. Soil is alluvial and of medium density. Vines are south-facing.

Vinification

Grapes are harvested in September. 70 hl. yield per ha. Grapes are macerated at 14°C for 15 days. The wine is then aged for 5 months in stainless steel, followed by 2 months in the bottle, and is then generally bottled 9 months after production.
