History

Established in 1975 as a cooperative, today numbering over 700 members (soci). Current president is Gennaro Matarazzo. The enologist is Antonio Circelli.
Located in Rosciano, among the dramatic vineyards, overlooked by two of the highest peaks in the Apennines (Gran Sasso and Majella). Varieties including Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Pecorino are grown.
Roxan’s 650 ha. of vineyard benefit from this favourable exposure: plenty of sunshine, steady breezes coming from the Adriatic and cooler ones from Gran Sasso.
The winery produces circa 180,000 bottles per year and 200,000 5 litre bag in boxes per year.
